Working in separate mediums of photography and paint, Crew and Holman combine their concern for the demise of the English countryside. Holman chooses to take refuge in a fictional rural
idyll, with a childlike wonder expressed through vivid colour and
surface pattern. While Crew tackles her anxiety through character
creation, showing once wild animals as domesticated, light heartedly
telling the story of creatures in search of a new habitat within
the blurring boundaries of country and city.Free entry.
