Salon Art Prize 2010 (Matt Roberts Arts)
We are now seeking submissions for the Salon Art Prize 2010. The deadline for applications is 5pm (GMT)on Saturday 7th August, 2010.
To apply email up to three images of your work (no larger than 3mb per image) to salonartprize@mattroberts.org.uk stating which category you would like to be considered for in the subject bar. The relevant categories are: Painting, Sculpture and 2-D Media (Drawing, Printmaking, Collage etc.). It is possible to submiit a mixed media application (eg one painting, one drawing and a sculpture) however you must choose a single category that best describes your overall practice or else based on which selector you would like to have primary responsibilty for your application.
Peter Bonnell (Curator, ArtSway) - Painting
Kate MacGarry (Director, Kate MacGarry gallery) - 2-D Media
Richard Birkett (Curator, ICA) - Sculpture
Selectors will have access to all applications but during the selection panel and ongoing discussions will act as advocates for a particular practice to make sure there is a balance of works included.
In order to apply to the Salon Art Prize you must be an Associate Member of Matt Roberts Arts prior to the application deadline.
Membership costs £8 for those based in the UK and £10 for those based outside of the UK. If you are unsure of when your membership expires please do not hesitate to contact us.
