Fotofolios Review 2011 (first prize £50 Amazon voucher)

The University for the Creative Arts is carrying out a review of fotofolios and we would like to know about fotofolios members' experiences of using the site in an online questionnaire at https://survey.ucreative.ac.uk/fotofolios_review (the questionnaire is submitted anonymously and should take about 15 minutes to complete).

Schools can now join fotofolios

We welcome new photography schools to join us. For now fotofolios membership is free and we hope to keep it that way. We offer your students access to a growing wealth of jobs and news and the ability to create their own online portfolio and projects. We are an expanding organisation with member schools in the UK, Northern Ireland, Spain, Saudia Arabia and India. Really looking forward to seeing your students work.

fotofolios welcomes Dar Al-Hekma

Dar Al-Hekma is a private all-female College in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is an institution that is known to tread new grounds and open new doors. Our graduates are original, creative and trend-setters in their fields, using modern design techniques and photography to reflect traditional Saudi heritage and Islamic art through arabesque ornamentation, illustration, print and Arabic typography. DAH design students are the first graphic designers graduating from Saudi Arabia.

GALERÍA CERO INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE - for new photographers

GALERÍA CERO INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE

CERO gallery presents the first Galería Cero International Photography Prize. The Galería CERO prize is launched into the art world as the largest monetary prize for photography in Spain, as its first prize is worth €18,000 and its second prize is worth €3,000. Furthermore, the first-prize winner is entitled to a solo show at Galería CERO.

Version 4

As you may have noticed fotofolios have undergone a bit of a facelift. Here's a short list of some of the changes:

New Stuff

The site is now running on a new London based server and as a result it should be a lot faster and more responsive.
When you've logged in you will find all the tools you need under 'Edit & Create'.
Portfolio editing has been massively improved. Portfolio photographs are no longer found on the 'images' tab. All your details are now on one page for easy editing. You can now add as many photograph as you like.
