Applications for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2012 will be accepted online from 16 January – 20 February 2012
New Contemporaries is the leading UK organisation supporting emergent art practice from British Art Schools. Since 1949 New Contemporaries has consistently provided a critical platform for new and recent fine art graduates primarily by means of an annual, nationally touring exhibition. Artists meeting the criteria below are invited to submit a selection of their work for consideration by a panel of selectors, usually more established artists.

The Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts is awarding some 70 grants, which cover either the course fees together with travel and living costs, or the course fees only.

10TH ROBERTO VILLAGRAZ SCHOLARSHIP OF PHOTOGRAPHY
EFTI School of Photography and Image Centre announces its 10th Roberto Villagraz scholarship of Photography, aiming to award three photographers with a scholarship that will enable them to develop their professional career through the study of EFTI International Master of Photography at the school free of charge (The cost of the course for this edition [2012-13] is 8.690 €)
Each of the awarded students will receive a stipend of 1,200€ as well.
Under no circumstances will the prize be changed for cash.
There is no application fee.
No prize will remain unawarded.

We currently have two internship opportunities. Both interns will be joining The Photographers’ Gallery at an exciting time in its history, as on 19 May 2012 we will unveil our new home for international and British photography in London.

Programme Intern (Archive)
The primary aim of this internship is to assist the Programming Department in the scanning and digital editing of archival material, to become part of a new digital archive for the Gallery.

THE AWARD IS WORTH 27.000 € AND THE JURY'S DECISION WILL BE KNOWN BY THE END OF MAY 2012
María José Jove Foundation announces the V International Plastic Arts Award 2012 which aims to encourage the dissemination of art and promote young artists. This is a national biennial contest, worth 27,000 Euros, which in previous editions stood out for the quality of the entries. Besides the prize money, the winning piece will become part of the Manuel Jove Art Collection, and its creator will be invited to join the jury in the following edition.

International Fellowship Program for Art and Theory 2012–13
Call For Applications
Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen invites visual and media artists, art critics, theorists, and curators to apply for a fellowship in 2012–2013. Candidates can apply for one semester (October 1, 2012–February 15, 2013 or February 18, 2013–June 28, 2013). The fellowship can be split across two semesters.
The closing date for submissions is February 3, 2012 (postmark).
