Currently photographing in Finland for his new body of works based on the the evolutionary machine, the ingredients, and current diversity of life on Earth.

The Forest Speciamen
"Thus between A & B immense gap of relation. C & B the finest gradation, B & D rather greater distinction. Thus genera would be formed." - Charles Darwin.
Inspired by Charles Darwin's 200 Anniversary and some left over potatoes this body of work was made into a unique handmade book. The specimens grown in controlled conditions to help quantify the unique characteristics, not only passed down through evolution, but the differences between the current generation as the process continues. Suitcases literally represent the growth of plants, from seed, to germination, to fertilisation, and becoming the fabric for the next generation.
