Using photography David's work seeks to explore the relationship between humans and nature. The struggle to advance and yet maintain a healthy environment has been a topic of great importance in the modern world. Within artificial environments made up from the obsolete electronic waste that humans creat he brings nature back into the picture by growing plants upon this e-wate. In this way he uses photography to create images that question the condition of the environment, sustainability of current production, and whether science will find the answers to advance without ruining the environment permanently. It is his opinion that art has a role in raising awareness and affecting change.
