I am interested in sociology of modern societies and I am exploring the effects of western countries' politics and economics in people's culture and everyday life. I am very sensitive towards the ideas of consumerism, vanity, alienation and false standards imposed on people.
This project "Life Behind the Glass" is a series of portraits of dolls, all of them found in showcases. The dolls' main purpose is the attraction of consumers through fashion and style. I am exploring the connections between the dolls and people living in western societies.
