I make pictures for myself, however they are proof to onlookers of what has taken place – the enjoyment of the perambulation – it enables me get involved with my subject, to look at its background. The finished product is so much more than just the photograph produced.
Landscapes and nature are my focus. This has developed through past projects. I am fascinated by mans impact on landscapes his interconnectedness with nature. Uniqueness of place is my focus. These subjects will never produce the same photographs a second time – conditions will never be replicated the same way again.
