"Samuel is a photographer based in London. In 2010 he was named 'Photographer Of The Year' by 'Practical Photography Magazine' and has gone on to work for a diverse collection of clients and publications. His self initiated work consists primarily of documentary and portraiture. Some recent projects include 'The Spirit Of Adventure' which he made whilst aboard a cruise ship, and 'My Mother's Mother' which saw Samuel traveling to Latvia - the place of his grandmothers birth - to photograph places of significance to her history and culture. This project was self published in a small limited edition bookzine which quickly sold out. Samuel continues to pursue his interest in book making, and recently founded 'Escape To Which Mountain,' a biannual photographic publication containing work by contributing photographers and writers. He visits fashion and editorial when commissioned."
